Choke Me is a four piece band from Los Angeles, CA who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Choke Me play a vicious, ugly, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, death metal, metalcore, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Choke Me can be loosely compared to bands such as Fulgora, Wake, Theories, Blindfolded And Led Into The Wounds, Teeth, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Choke Me have released a twelve song LP titled The Cousin Of Death in June of 2020. Hauntology is the band's latest EP, which was released via Riot Ready records on August 20th, 2021. On Hauntology, Choke Me offer up six tracks of ugly, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, death metal, metalcore, gindcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Hauntology makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
