Makruh is a three piece band from Serembam, Malaysia who formed in 2019. Makruh play a chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck style of 90's influenced hardcore, punk, and screamo. Musically, Makruh can be loosely compared to bands such as Saetia, June Paik, Virginia On Duty, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Makruh have released a demo song titled Altercation in February of 2020. This is the band's debut LP, which was released via Tomb Tree Tapes and Bilik Chaos records on January 21st, 2021. On their self-titled debut Makruh offer up eleven tracks of chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, Makruh's debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
