Silk Leash is a four piece band from Baltimore, Maryland who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Silk Leash play an ugly and super negative style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Silk Leash can be loosely compared to bands such as Lace, Lilac, Easy Prey, Walls, Faking, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Silk Leash have released a four song EP titled Troublesome Thoughts in March of 2018, a five song EP titled Disconnect By The Neck in July of 2018, and a two song EP titled Rot/Pigs in November of 2020. Waste/Hand Of God is the band's latest EP, which was released on August 9th, 2021. On Waste/Hand Of God, Silk Leash offer up two tracks of harsh, ugly, and super negative sounding hardcore, punk, and noise rock. Overall, Waste/Hand Of God makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
