Pidgeon is a band from Berlin, Germany who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. Pidgeon play a tense and angular style of music that incorporates elements of punk and post punk within their sound. Musically, Pidgeon can be loosely compared to bands such as Wire, Gang Of Four, Wipers, Chain Cult, Heat/Dust, Cult Values, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Pidgeon have released a three song EP titled Crooked Teeth in May of 2014, a split EP with Girlie in September of 2016, a digital demo single titled Ex-Pressure in May of 2017, an eleven song self-titled LP in May of 2018, and a five song EP titled Bug in October of 2018. Deny All Knowledge Of Complicity is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Adagio 830 on June 11th, 2021. On Deny All Knowledge Of Complicity, Pidgeon offer up ten tracks of tense, moody, and discordant sounding punk and post punk. Overall, Deny All Knowledge Of Complicity makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
