Severed Boy is a two piece band from Somerville, MA who formed in 2020. Severed Boy play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of doom, black metal, and death metal within their sound. Musically, Severed Boy can be loosely compared to bands such as Knelte Rote, Noose Rot, Black Tomb, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2020, Severed Boy have released a digital single titled Coughing Up The Night in May of 2020. Tragic Encounters is the band's debut EP, which was released on cd and cassette via Caligari records on July 15th, 2021. On Tragic Encounters, Severed Boy offer up five tracks of raw, filthy, and ugly sounding doom, black metal, and death metal. Overall, Tragic Encounters makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
