Caged is a five piece band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Caged play a ugly, raw, filthy, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of doom, death metal, black metal, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Caged can be loosely compared to bands such as Hell, Primitive Man, Of Feather And Bone, Nooserot, and other like-minded bands. Stricken By Continuance is the band's debut LP, which was released via Transylvanian Tapes on August 7th, 2020. On Stricken By Continuance, Caged offer up four tracks of ugly, raw, filthy, and brutal as fuck sounding doom, death metal, black metal, and sludge. Overall, Stricken By Continuance makes for an awesome listen and definitely shoudl npt be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
