The Psychotic Monks are a band from Paris, France who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. The Psychotic Monks play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, garage rock, noise rock, and death rock within their sound. Musically, The Psychotic Monks can be loosely compared to bands such as Destruction Unit, All The Saints, Vincas, Sonic Youth, Psychic Blood, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, The Psychotic Monks have released a six song EP titled IV in March of 2016, a digital single titled It's Gone in February of 2017, and a ten song LP titled Silence Slowly And Madly Shines in April of 2017. Private Meaning First is the band's latest LP, which was released via Vicious Circle records on March 29th, 2019. On Private Meaning First, The Psychotic Monks offer up nine tracks of dark, tense, moody, and psychedelic sounding punk, grunge, garage rock, noise rock, and death rock.
