Hive is a four piece band from Minneapolis, Minnesota who formed in late 2014, from the looks of things. Hive features members of Threadbare, Harvest, Xaphan, 108, Disembodied, and Bosnia. Hive play a crushing and metallic style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Hive can be said to be influenced by bands such as Wolfbrigade, Entombed, Cursed and His Hero Is Gone. Since forming in 2014, Hive have released a six song EP in June of 2015, a ten song LP titled Parasitic Twin in April of 2017, and a split with No Skin in May of 2018. Most Vicious Animal is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Crown And Throne Ltd. and Seeing Red records on August 2nd, 2019. On Most Vicious Animal, Hive offer up ten tracks of killer hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Most Vicous Animal makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
