Ugly Runner is a three piece band from Asheville, North Carolina who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Ugly Runner play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, and garage rock within their sound. Musically, Ugly Runner can be loosely compared to bands such as Estrogen Highs, The Buoys, The Golden Boys, The Heavy Crawls, and other like-minded bands. This is the band's debut demo, which was released on May 31st, 2019. On their self-titled demo, Ugly Runner offer up two tracks of catchy and psychedelic sounding post punk, punk, and garage rock. Overall, Ugly Runner's debut demo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
