Cryptae is a two piece band from the Netherlands who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Cryptae play a raw, harsh, filthy, and ugly style of music that incorporates elements of death metal and black metal within their sound. Musically, Cryptae can be loosely compared to bands such as Knelte Rote, Abstracter, Foul, Primitive Man, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Cryptae have released a self-titled four song EP in December of 2017. Vestigial is the band's latest 12", which was released via Sentient Ruin Laboratories on August 16th, 2019. On Vestigial, Cryptae offer up one track of raw, harsh, filthy, ugly, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal and death metal. Overall, Vestigial makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
