Mourning is a four piece band from Leeds, UK who formed in 2017. Mourning play a killer style of 90's influenced metallic hardcore. Musically, Mourning can be loosely compared to bands such as Axis, Blistered, Incendiary, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Mourning have released a self-titled demo in October of 2017, a two song demo titled Reh. in July of 2018, and a five song EP compiling the band's Reh. demo and self-titled demo in October of 2018. Ecstatic Masochist is the band's latest demo, which was released on August 17th, 2019. On Ecstatic Masochist, Mourning offer up five tracks of brutal as fuck sounding metallic hardcore. Overall, Ecstatic Masochist makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Great stuff! Enjoy!
