Noriega is a band from Los Angeles, CA who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Noriega features members of Black Sheep Wall and Admiral Angry, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly unique. Noriega play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Noriega can be loosely compared to bands such as Cult Leader, Death Engine, Botch, Playing Enemy, Breather Resist, and other like-minded bands. Desolo is the band's debut EP, which was released on April 29th, 2013. On Desolo, Noriega offer up five tracks of killer hardcore, punk, metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Desolo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
