Sparrows is a four piece band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada who formed in 2011. Sparrows play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Sparrows can be loosely be compared to bands such as Aeges, Quicksand, Cave-In, Pianos Become The Teeth, Rosetta, La Dispute, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Sparrows have released a five song EP titled Goliath in May of 2011, an eight song LP titled Cold Ground in June of 2013, a four song EP titled Dragging Hell in August of 2015, a digital single titled Cave Eater in August of 2016, and a ten song LP titled Lay Silence Stay Where It Was in October of 2016. Failed Gods is the band's latest LP, which was released on August 9th, 2019. On Failed Gods, Sparrows offer up eleven tracks of killer post hardcore, post rock, emo, and screamo. Overall, False Gods makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
