Ekki is a four piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Ekki play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Ekki can be loosely compared to bands such as Alter, Psychic Teens, Kindling, Twin Foxes, and other like-minded bands. Við Erum is the band's debut EP, which was released on February 28th, 2019. On Við Erum, Ekki offer up three tracks of dark and moody alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze. Overall, Við Erum makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
