MTN ISL is a four piece band from Atlanta, Georgia who formed in early 2013. MTN ISL play a tense, off-kilter, and hard to describe style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, noise rock, and math rock within their sound. Musically, MTN ISL can be loosely compared to bands such as Wow , Owls!, Stop It!, Sweep The Leg Johnny, 1994!, and Tiny Hawks. Since their inception in 2013, MTN ISL have released a six song EP titled Gid Become Animal in December of 2013, a split 7" with Bodyfather in June of 2014, an eleven song self-titled LP in December of 2015, and a thirteen song LP titled Maybe Sometimes People in March of 2018. Let Us Pray is MTN ISL's latest full-length LP, which was released on August 28th, 2019. On Let Us Pray, LP, MTN ISL, offer up thirteen tracks of tense, off-kilter, and dirty sounding punk, post punk, noise rock, and math rock.
