Hush is a six piece band from upstate New York who formed in 2012. Hush play a dark, ominous, and crushing style of music that incorporates elements of doom, post metal, sludge, and crust within their sound. Musically, Hush can be loosely compared to bands such as Palehorse, Northless, Lightbearer, Thou, and Old Man Gloom. Since their inception in 2012, Hush have released a one track single simply titled Untitled I in November of 2012 and a seven song LP titled Unexist in June of 2014. Nihil Unbound is Hush's latest full-length LP, which was released on January 8th, 2016. On Nihil Unbound, Hush offer up five tracks of dirty, sludgy, and heavy as fuck sounding doom, black metal, sludge, and crust. Overall, Nihil Unbound is an amazing album and should not be missed.
