Divider is a four piece band from NYC who formed in 2006.  Divider play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and metal within their sound.  Musically, Divider can be said to be influenced by bands such as Ed Gein, Coalesce, Botch, Deadguy, Engineer, and Breather Resist.  Since their inception in 2006, Divider have several releases under their belts which include a six song EP titled Twilight, which was released back in June of 2006, a three song EP titled Strange Lands, which was released in October of 2010, a split LP with Bone Dance and Plebeian Grandstand, which was released in August of 2011, a self-titled 7", which was released in April of 2012, and a split 7" with Colony, which was released in 2012 as well.  Despite being a band for almost a decade, Divider has not released a proper full-length until now.  All Barren is a behemoth of an album which captures the intensity of bands such as Neurosis, early Isis, and Coalesce, but puts a unique and modern twist on that sound.  All Barren features eleven tracks of brilliantly executed hardcore, punk, sludge, and metal that's an absolute must listen for fans of Achilles, Bone Dance, Trap Them, and Capsule.  Overall, All Barren is an amazing album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
