Nine Eleven is a band from Le Mans, France who formed in 2008, from the looks of things. Nine Eleven play a dense, oppressive, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, post metal, crust, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Nine Eleven can be loosely compared to bands such as Men As Trees, Old Soul, Envy, Isis, AmenRa, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2008, Nine Eleven have released an eleven song LP titled City Of Quartz in September of 2009, a ten song LP titled Le Reve De Cassandre in January of 2012, and a six song LP titled 24 Years in November of 2013. Sentinels is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Zegema Beach records on September 24th, 2021. On Sentinels, Nine Eleven offer up five tracks of dense, oppressive, and brutal as fuck sounding post hardcore, post rock, post metal, crust, and screamo. Overall, Sentinels makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
