Dridge are a three piece band from Philadelphia who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Dridge play a dark, moody, and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, death rock, goth, metal, and doom within their sound. Musically, Dridge can be said to draw inspiration from bands such as Celtic Frost, No Trend, Christian Death, Ministry, Smashing Pumpkins, Nick Cave, Joy Division, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2012, Dridge have released a two song EP titled Gritual in June of 2013 and a three song EP titled Ruby in January of 2020. Curing is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via W.G.M. records on August 13th, 2021. On Curing, Dridge offer up seven tracks of dark, moody, and discordant sounding post punk, death rock, goth, metal, and doom. Overall, Curing makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
