VLKN is a five piece band from Budapest, Hungary who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. VLKN play vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, VLKN can be loosely compared to bands such as Cursed, Rise And Fall, The Holy Mountain, Perth Express, Ghostlimb, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2020, VLKN have released a digital single titled Problem-Reaction-Solution in May of 2021. Ruination is the band's Debut LP, which was released via Tomb Tree Tapes on September 13th, 2021. On Ruination, VLKN offer up eight tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Ruination makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
