Axis Of Light is a two piece band from Manchester, United Kingdom who formed in 2011. Axis Of Light play a raw, ugly, and filthy style of black metal. Musically, Axis Of Light can be loosely compared to bands such as Somme, Wampyric Rites, Bone Awl, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Axis Of Light have released a four song EP titled By The Hands Of The Consuming Fire in September of 2011, a split EP with Death Fortress in April of 2013, a four song EP titled L'appel du vide in February of 2015, and a two song EP titled Northern Ascendancy in November of 2016. This is the band's latest LP, which was released via Dissociative Visions on June 1st, 2020. On their latest LP, Axis Of Light offer up seven tracks of ugly, raw, filthy, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal. Overall, Axis Of Light's latest LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
