Heckel & Jeckel is a two piece band from France who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Heckel & Jeckel play a raw and ugly style of music that incorporates elements of doom, metal, grunge, alt. rock, stoner rock, and noise rock within their sound. Since forming in 2018, Heckel & Jeckel have released a four song EP in June of 2018, a four song EP in July of 2018, a third four song EP in August of 2018, a fourth EP in September of 2018, a twelve song LP titled In The Crows We Trust in February of 2019, a four song EP titled Welcome In Crow-Crasti-Nation in February of 2020, a four song EP titled More Alive Than Never in May of 2020, and a nine song LP titled This Is War!! in April of 2021. Sarbalakio is the band's latest EP, which was released via Forbidden Place records on September 4th, 2021. On Sarbalakio, Heckel & Jeckel offer up three tracks of dark, raw, ugly, and unsettling doom, metal, punk, grunge, alt. rock, stoner rock, and noise rock. Overall, Sarbalakio makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
