Nine Eleven is a band from Le Mans, France who formed in 2008, from the looks of things.  Nine Eleven play a dense, oppressive, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, post metal, crust, and screamo within their sound.  Musically, Nine Eleven can be loosely compared to bands such as Men As Trees, Old Soul, Envy, Isis, AmenRa, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2008, Nine Eleven have released an eleven song LP titled City Of Quartz in September of 2009, a ten song LP titled Le Reve De Cassandre in January of 2012, and a six song LP titled 24 Years in November of 2013.  Sentinels is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Zegema Beach records on September 24th, 2021.  On Sentinels, Nine Eleven offer up five tracks of dense, oppressive, and brutal as fuck sounding post hardcore, post rock, post metal, crust, and screamo.  Overall, Sentinels makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Nine Eleven is a five piece band from Le Mans, France who formed in 2008.  Nine Eleven play a dark and atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, hardcore, punk, and post rock within their sound.  Musically, Nine Eleven can be loosely compared to bands such as older Pianos Become The Teeth, Raein, Funeral Diner, Daitro, and Birds In Row.  Since forming in 2008, Nine Eleven has released an eleven song LP titled City Of Quartz in September of 2009, a ten song LP titled Le Reve De Cassandre in January of 2012, and a six song LP titled 24 Years in November of 2013.  Sentinels is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Tokyo Jupiter records on September 30th, 2016.  On Sentinels, Nine Eleven offer up five tracks of dark, moody, atmospheric, and heavy as fuck sounding post hardcore, hardcore, punk, and post rock.  Overall, Sentinels is a killer album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Nine Eleven is a French band that doesn't necessarily seem to have political motivations, but it's clear that their intentions are to be a positive force in this world. Musically, they are a very tight, concise & powerful brand of hardcore and I could compare them to bands like Jungbluth & Alpinist, or even Loma Prieta or Code Orange Kids. "24 Years" is a self released record on the band's own Nine Eleven Conspiracy label, so if you like it, pick it up from them. You can also download their previous releases via Bandcamp below. As for the overall concept of this new record, the band can probably explain it much better than me:

"24 years" is a kind of 6 acts tragedy, relating sensible experiences we got from this world in a chronological narrative order, that the weft and literary structure is inspired straight from Goethe's "Faust". This record is about the story of the One who's living, the ones who're singing it along, and the monster who's looking for turning everything alive into incorporated death."
