Pupil Slicer is a three piece band from London, UK who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Pupil Slicer play a chaotic, volatile, vicious, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, death metal, metalcore, hardcore, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Pupil Slicer can be loosely compared to bands such as Theories, Leech, Woundvvac, WVRM, Wake, Knoll, and other like-minded bands, Since forming in 2016, Pupil Slicer have released self-titled seven song EP in May of 2017, a split EP with Death Goals in August of 2017, a split EP with Sense Offender in February of 2019, and a digital single titled L'Appel Du Vide in October of 2020. Mirrors is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Prosthetic records on March 12th, 2021. On Mirrors, Pupil Slicer offer up twelve tracks of chaotic, volatile, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding post metal, death metal, metalcore, hardcore, grindcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Mirrors makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
