Dictation is a four piece band from CT who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Dictation play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Dictation can be loosely compared to bands such as Impalers, Chem-Trails, Martyrdod, Churchwhip, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Dictation have released a five song demo in February of 2019. Total Plague is the band's debut EP, which was released on April 17th, 2021. On Total Plague, Dictation offer up eight tracks of raw and filthy sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Total Plague makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed!
