Age Of Woe is a band from Sweden who formed in 2010, from the looks of things. Age Of Woe play an ugly, vicious, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of death metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Age Of Woe can be loosely compared to bands such as Entombed, Of Feather And Bone, Scorched, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2010, Age Of Woe have released a three song self-titled 7" in December of 2011, an eight song LP titled Inhumanform in May of 2013, a digital single titled An Age Of Woe That Lasts For 100 Years in June of 2014, a seven song LP titled An Ill Wind Blowing in October of 2016, and a digital single titled Gospel Of Lies in June of 2020. Envenom is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Lifeforce records on February 26th, 2021. On Envenom, Age Of Woe offer up eleven tracks of ugly, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding death metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Envenom makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
