They Leapt From Burning Windows is a two piece band from Anchorage, Alaska who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. They Leapt From Burning Windows play an oppressive and atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of post metal and black metal within their sound. Musically, They Leapt From Burning Windows can be loosely compared to bands such as Yellow Eyes, Mamaleek, Occlith, Tombs, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, They Leapt From Burning Windows have released a four song EP titled Slash Your Flesh, Drink To Death in September of 2016 and contributed two songs to the Fairview Fog compilation in April of 2017. This is the band's latest demo which was released via Lycaean Triune on June 26th, 2020. On their latest demo, They Leapt From Burning Windows offer up six tracks of oppressive and atmospheric sounding post metal and black metal. Overall, They Leapt From Burning Windows' latest demo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
