Choir Boy is a four piece band from Salt Lake City, Utah who formed in 2016. Choir Boy play a light and dreamy style of music that incorporates elements of 80's influenced dream pop, indie pop, synth pop, and new wave within their sound. Musically, Choir Boy can be loosely compared to bands such as Beach House, Black Marble, Boy Harsher, Maxband, Anne, Neon Indian, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Choir Boy have released a nine song LP titled Passive With Desire in October of 2016, a two song EP titled Sunday Light in October of 2017, a five song Part Time Punks Sessions EP in March of 2018, a digital single titled Dark Room in September of 2018, and a digital single titled Nites Like This in October of 2019. Gathering Swans is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Dais records on May 8th, 2020. On Gathering Swans, Choir Boy offer up ten tracks of bright and dreamy dream pop, indie pop, synth pop, and new wave. Overall, Gathering Swans makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
