Protomartyr are a four piece band from Detroit, Michigan who formed in 2010. Protomartyr play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, alt. rock, and art rock within their sound. Since forming in 2014, Protomartyr have released a fourteen song LP titled Under Color Of Official Right in April of 2014, a digital single titled A Half Of Seven in April of 2015, a twelve song LP titled The Age Of Intellect in October of 2015, a twelve song LP titled Relatives in Descent in September of 2017, a four song EP titled Consolation in June of 2018, a seventeen song LP titled No Passion All Technique in May of 2019, and a two song EP titled Old Spool And Gurges 11 in June of 2020. Ultimate Success Today is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Domino Recording Co. on July 17th, 2020. On Ultimate Success Today, Protomartyr offer up ten tracks of killer post punk, alt. rock, and art rock.
