Fange is a four piece band from Rennes, France who formed in 2013. Fange play a dirty, filthy, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of doom, sludge, noise rock, and metal within their sound. Musically, Fange can be loosely compared to bands such as Primitive Man, Senior Fellows, Vermin Womb, Hexis, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Fange have released a six song LP titled Poisse in April of 2014 a cover of Black Flag's Rat Eyes on the CVLT Nation Slip It In Black Flag tribute in March of 2015, a seven song LP titled Purge in September of 2016, a six song LP titled Pourrissoir in March of 2017, a seven song LP titled Punir in March of 2019, and an eight song LP titled Pudeur in April of 2020. Poigne is the band's latest EP, which is slated for release via Throatruiner records on August 14th, 2020. On Poigne, Fange offer up four tracks of experimental filthy, raw, and blown-out sounding doom, sludge, metal, noise rock, industrial, and noise. Overall, Poigne makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
