Urochromes are a three piece band from New York City who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Urochromes play a tense, discordant, and moody style of post punk and punk. Musically, Urochromes can be loosely compared to bands such as Iggy And The Stooges, The Wipers, Giant Haystacks, Institute, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Urochromes have released a six song EP titled Night Bully in January of 2017. Trope House is the band's latest LP, which was released via Warf Cat records on May 31st, 2019. On Trope House, Urochromes offer up ten tracks of tense, discordant, and moody post punk and punk. Overall, Trope House makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
