SHY is a three piece band from New Haven, CT who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. SHY play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, alt. rock, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, SHY can be loosely compared to bands such as Cayetena, Lapeche, Campdogzz, Mazzy Star, and other like-minded bands. Former is the band's debut EP, which was released May 25th, 2019. On Former, SHY offer up seven tracks of dark and moody shoegaze, alt. rock, and indie rock. Overall, Former makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
