Sheeva Yoga is a five piece band from Ostrava, Czech Republic who formed in 2008. Sheeva Yoga play a volatile and chaotic style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, grindcore, powerviolence, and fastcore within their sound. Musically, Sheeva Yoga can be loosely compared to bands such as Water Torture, Stimulant, Lies, Suffering Mind, Grinding Halt, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2008, Sheeva Yoga have released a split LP with Disney in March of 2008, contributed a track to the Play Fast Or Don't compilation in August of 2008, a twenty song LP titled Svet Ten Cert Vem in July of 2011, a split EP with Kumuru in August of 2012, a split 10" with Say Why? in September of 2013, contributed a song to the Communal Grave Vol. 3 compilation in March of 2016, a two song EP titled Covers Of Eclectic Acid Fastcore in March of 2017, and a split 12" with Dog Eggs in July of 2018. Vanitas Vanitatum is the band's latest LP, which was released via Lixiviat, Dead Heroes, Totalitarian Continues, Olga Hepnarova, and Larmo Records on March 5th, 2021. On Vanitas Vanitatum, Sheeva Yoga offer up sixteeen tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, grindcore, powerviolence, and fastcore. Overall, Vanitas Vanitatum makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
