Rat Columns are a Perth Australia, based band who formed in 2013, by the looks of thins. Rat Columns play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, alt. rock, 70's garage rock shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Rat Columns can be said to be similar to bands such as Total Control, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Ice Age, Codeine, Low, and other like-minded bands. Since their inception in 2013, Rat Columns have released an eleven song LP titled Leaf in June of 2013, a three song 7" titled stay in June of 2015, a five song EP titled Do You Remember Real Pain in June of 2015, and an eleven song LP titled Candle Power in September of 2019. Pacific Kiss is Rat Column's latest full-length LP, which was released via Tough Love records on February 14th, 2021. On Pacific Kiss, Rat Columns offer up ten tracks of fuzzed out , bright, and hazy sounding 70's inspired garage rock, post punk, alt. rock , and shoegaze. Overall, Pacific Kiss makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
