Black Sheep Wall is a four piece band from Los Angeles, California who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Black Sheep Wall play a forward-thinking, progressive, and difficult to pigeonhole style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, post hardcore, doom, metal, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Black Sheep Wall fall into their own category of heavy music, but can definitely be put in the category of bands such as Isis, Old Man Gloom, Cult Of Luna, Cult Leader, and other like-minded bands. Since their formation, Black Sheep Wall have released a nine song LP titled No Matter Where It Ends in March of 2012, a three song EP titled It Begins Again in June of 2013, and a four song LP titled I'm Going To Kill Myself in January of 2015. Songs For The Enamel Queen is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Silent Pendulum and Sludgelord records on February 26th, 2021. On Songs For The Enamel Queen, Black Sheep Wall offer up seven tracks of progressive, forward-thinking, and experimental sounding post metal, post hardcore, doom, metal, and sludge, Overall, Songs For The Enamel Queen makes for an amazing listen and will definitely end up being one of my favorite releases of 2021.
