Land Of Talk is the Montreal, Canada based musical project of singer/songwriter of Elizabeth Powell, who began releasing material under the moniker Lad Of Talk in 2006. Land Of Talk play a dreamy and hauntingly beautiful style of music that incorporates elements of indie rock and alt. rock within their sound. Musically, Land Of Talk can be loosely compared to artists such as Hop Along, Campdogzz, Kim Deal, and other like-minded artists. Since forming in 2006, Land Of Talk have released a ten song LP titled Some Are Lakes in September of 2008, a four song EP titled Fun And Laughter in October of 2009, a two song EP titled Swift Coin in August of 2020, a ten song LP titled Cloak And Cipher in August of 2010, and a ten song LP titled Life After Youth in May of 2017. Indistinct Conversations is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Saddle Creek records on July 31st, 2020. On Indistinct Conversations, Land Of Talk offer up eleven tracks of dreamy and hazy sounding alt. rock and indie rock.
