Rope Sect is a three piece band from Germany who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Rope Sect play a dark and gloomy style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, goth rock, death rock, and cold wave within their sound. Musically, Rope Sect can be loosely compared to bands such as Night Sins, Bellicose Minds, Torture Love, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Rope Sect have released an eight song LP titled Personae Infratae in April of 2017 and a two song 7" titled Proselytes in October of 2017. The Great Flood is Rope Sect's latest full-length LP, which was released via Iron Bonehead Productions on August 12th, 2020. On The Great Flood, Rope Sect offer up ten tracks of tense, dark, and moody punk, post punk, goth rock, death rock, and cold wave.
