Witch Ward is a four piece band from Houston, Texas who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Witch Ward play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, black metal, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Witch Ward can be loosely compared to bands such as Ancestors, Impalers, Church Whip, Noose Rot, and other like-minded bands. Sacrificial Monolith is the band's debut EP, which was released via Caligari records on May 1st, 2020. On Sacrificial Monolith, Witch Ward offer up five tracks raw, ugly, and filthy as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, black metal, and d-beat. Overall, Sacrificial Monolith makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
