Jail Socks is a four piece band from Charlotte, North Carolina who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Jail Socks play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Jail Socks can be loosely compared to band such as The Movielife, Saves The Day, Have Mercy, Prawn, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Jail Socks have released a two song EP titled No Promises in February of 2018 and a split EP with Placeholder in June of 2018. It's Not Forever is the band's latest EP, which was released via No Sleep records on September 27th, 2019. On It's Not Forever, Jail Socks offer up six tracks of catchy and energetic punk, emo, and indie rock. Overall, It's Not Forever makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
