Mental Distress is a four piece band from Strasbourg, France who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Mental Distress play a raw and ugly style of hardcore/punk. Since forming in 2014, Mental Distress have released an eleven song self-titled demo in July of 2014, a split with Ed Warner in June of 2016, and a self-titled EP in January of 2017. Pas beaucoup d'avenir is the band's latest LP, which was released via Bright Future, Crapoulet, Dead Punx, Dirty Guys Rock, Don’t Trust The Hype, Hardcore For The Losers, Itawak, KLVR, Mon Cul C’est Du Tofu, and No Way Asso records on October 4th, 2019. On Pas beaucoup d'avenir, Mental Distress offer up seven tracks of raw and ugly hardcore/punk. Overall, Pas beaucoup d'avenir makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
