Contractions is a four piece band from Besançon, France who formed in 2017. Contractions features members of Baton Rouge, Hawaii Samurai, and The Irradiates, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Contractions play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, garage rock and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Contractions can be loosely compared to bands such as Baton Rouge, Passing Phases, Tideland, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Contractions have released a self-titled six song demo in September of 2017 and a second two song demo in November of 2018. Demain est annulé is the band's debut LP, which was released via Adagio 830 and Pure Pain Sugar records on September 23rd, 2019. On Demain est annulé, Contractions offer up eleven tracks of melodic, energetic, and catchy as hell sounding punk, garage rock, and indie rock. Overall, Demain est annulé makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
