Microwaves are a three piece band from Pittsburgh, PA who formed in September 0f 2000.  Microwaves play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post pun and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Microwaves can be loosely be compared to bands such as Shellac, Big Black, Arab On Radar, Liars, and other like-minded bands.  Contagion Heuristic is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on September 15th, 2018.  On Contagion Heuristic, Microwaves offer up ten tracks of caustic and discordant sounding post punk and noise rock.  Overall, Contagion Heuristic makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
