Coolside is a four piece band from Lancaster, CA who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Coolside play a killer style of late 90's-early 2000's influenced hardcore, punk. Musically, Coolside can be loosely compared to bands such as Verse, Have Heart, Bane, Mouthpiece, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Coolside have released a five song EP titled Own The Zone in April of 2014, a digital single titled Freedom in December of 2014, a five song EP titled Be Cool in April of 2015, and a four song promo EP in January of 2018. Exploration Of Self is the band's latest EP, which was released via Indecision records on March 15th, 2019. On Exploration Of Self, Coolside offer up seven tracks of killer late 90's-early 2000's influenced metallic hardcore. Overall, Exploration Of Self makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Great stuff! Enjoy!
