Modern Rituals is a four piece band from London, United Kingdom who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Modern Rituals play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, indie rock, emo, and alt. rock within their sound. Musically, Modern Rituals can be said to be influenced by bands such as Guided By Voices, Built To Spill, Texas Is The Reason, Jawbreaker, The Jealous Sound, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Modern Rituals have released a six song EP titled Stranger Culture in May of 2016, and a two song EP titled Hermit Kuppling February of 2018. The Light That Leaks In is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Holy Roar records on June 22nd, 2018. On The Light That Leaks In, Modern Rituals offer up eleven tracks of gloomy, moody, and catchy as hell sounding punk, grunge, indie rock, emo, and alt. rock.
