Scavengers are a four piece band from Albany, New York who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Scavengers features members of Hush, Final Sleep, Maggot Brain, Lariat, and Recon, so going on that alone, you know you're in for some really awesome tunes. Scavengers play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Scavengers can be loosely compared to bands such as Cursed, Tragedy, Baptists, Wanderer, Moral Void, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Scavengers have released a two song self-titled demo in June of 2016 and a seven song LP titled Progress To Oblivion in January of 2017. Ordovician Silurian is Scavengers' latest EP, which was released on June 29th, 2018. On Ordovician Silurian, Scavengers offer up six tracks of killer hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Ordovician Silurian makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
