Los Huaycos is a a four piece band from Oakland, CA who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Los Huaycos play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and thrash within their sound. Musically, Los Huaycos can be loosely compared to bands such as DRI, Iron Regan, Loser Life, Infest, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Los Huaycos have released a twelve song LP titled Way Of The Landslide in February of 2014, a seven song EP titled The Inevitable Devastations And The Consequences Of The Huaycal Attack in August of 2015, and a nine song EP titled Ataque Bestial in September of 2018. Savage Monstrosities is the band's latest LP, which was released via Tank Crimes records on February 8th, 2019. On Savage Monstrosities, Los Huaycos offer up eleven tracks of vicious and raging old school sounding hardcore, skate punk, and thrash. Overall, Savage Monstrosities makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Great stuff! Enjoy!
