Here's a killer split LP featuring new material from Long Island NY's Unknown River Driver and Long Island NY's Rations Noise. Unknown River Driver is a three piece band from Long Island, NY who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Unknown River Driver features member of Lamagna and Rations, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Unknown River Driver play a killer style of post hardcore, punk, and emo within their sound. Musically, Unknown River Driver can be loosely compared to bands such as early Built To Spill, Small Brown Bike, The Casket Lottery, Abel Baker Fox, Fellow Project and other like-minded bands. On their side of the split, Unknown River Driver offer up five tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, and emo. The second band on the split is a band called Rations Noise is the electronic off-shoot of long running NY punk band Rations. Rations Noise play some mellow, weirdo, and somewhat ambient sounding experimental electronic music. On their side of the split, Rations Noise offer up five tracks of weird, sparse, minimalist, and slightly ambient sounding experimental electronic music. Overall, this is a killer split LP and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
