Shin Guard is a four piece band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who formed in 2017. Shin Guard play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound. Musically, Shin Guard can be loosely compared to bands such as Old Gray, Pyramids, Mahria, Weak Teeth, Loma Prieta, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Shin Guard have released a four song EP titled Five Songs in December of 2017, a digital single titled Definitely in September of 2018, and an eight song LP titled Cerebral in October of 2018. 2020 is Shin Guard's latest full-length LP, which was released on February 13th, 2019. On 2020, Shin Guard offer up eight tracks of tense, chaotic, and volatile sounding post hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence. Overall, 2020 makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
