Riviera is a five piece band from Romagna, Italy who formed in 2011, from the looks of things. Riviera play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Riviera can be loosely compared to bands such as Raein, Daitro, Suis La Lune, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Riviera have released a four song EP in November of 2011, a four song EP titled Parla Con Gesu in August of 2012, and a self-titled LP in October of 2014. Contrasto is Riviera's latest full-length LP, which was released via Middle-Man records on December 31st, 2018. On Contrasto, Riviera offer up eight tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Contrasto makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
