Riposte is a band from Indiana and California featuring Shawn Decker from Coma Regalia, Middle-Man Records, countless other side projects and Randall Avilez from Heritage Unit. Riposte play a killer style of chaotic and volatile sounding hardcore, punk, and screamo. Musically, Riposte can be loosely compared to bands such as We Were Skeletons, Beau Navire, Todos Caeran, The Saddest Landscape, Coma Regalia, and other like-minded bands. En Garde is the band's debut LP, which was released via Middle-Man records on January 30th, 2019. On En Garde, Riposte offer up ten tracks of tense, chaotic, and energetic sounding hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, En Garde makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
